Yesterday, I brought my kids to Mid Valley to shop for their present for doing so well in school and for getting an award each.

Once we’re there, we went to the third floor to the Pets Wonderland as my kids wanted to see the animals especially the puppies. After hanging out there for a good 15-20 mins, we then went to a shop called Toy City to “look-see-look-see”. I basically have to remind my kids to look around first before deciding what toys to buy. They’ve an idea what they want earlier. My boy wants a lego toy or Bionicle while my daughter wants a new Barbie (but convinced her to look at Barbie accessories instead as she has 3-4 of them)

We’ve only spent 5-10 mins as they have nothing interesting toys to look/shop. Mostly cheap toys. As the saying goes, “Cheap thing no good, good thing no cheap”. Next stop, Jaya Jusco.

My boy spotted some Bionicle but still cannot decide which one to buy. I’ve advised him to take his time instead of rushing to get one. My daughter saw an ad but can’t find the accessories. So we’ve decided to head down to Toys ‘R Us. While heading there, hunger strikes. We made a stop at Pasta Zanmai.

Err, that’s my ice-cream you’re eating

After they’ve bought their toys (spent above RM300 for their toys, ouch), my daughter still wants to hang around Toys ‘R Us. She also met a new friend too.

By the time we reached home, it was 3:30pm. As long they are happy, I’ll say it’s worth it (energy, time & money). Hope they’ll work hard again next year.
